Shamanic Piercings

While in the UK Fakir pierced six people shamanically.

The reason the Shamanic Piercing was so powerful for me was the intimate placing of the piercing, combined with the relaxing yet exciting atmosphere, beautifully created by Fakir, Justin, Elwood and Jonathan. I felt comfortable in the presence of these people, not at all self-conscious. This meant I could channel my energy into engaging with my body more than I usually would, both before and during the piercing.

The pain was short-lived and was followed by a weightless, tingling sensation all over my body. This is something I have never experienced from any other piercing. It was an incredible experience.

I feel high, so high I'm almost dizzy. I can't stop smiling. I feel clean, positive. When I'm dressed Fakir hugs me and I can feel the warmth radiating from him. I don't want to let go.

So this is what it feels like to be pierced shamanically, it emcompasses your entire being, your body and spirit. I'm startled as to how much it affects me, how open and warm I feel. I want this feeling to stay inside me forever.
